📌 About the Finance Internship Role

Finance at Shield AI plays a strategic role in driving business success by providing quantitative insights that enhance decision-making. As a Finance Intern, you will:

• Work on real financial projects that impact business operations.
• Gain experience in forecasting, financial planning, data collection, and automation.
• Help develop dashboards and reports to improve financial visibility.
• Assist in identifying actionable trends and insights from data analysis.
• Improve financial accuracy and streamline processes for greater efficiency.

As an intern, you will rotate through multiple finance teams to get a holistic view of how finance operates within a tech-driven company. These areas include:
✅ Financial Planning & Analysis – Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling.
✅ Accounting – Gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
✅ Program Finance – Understand financial oversight and management of key company initiatives.
✅ Pricing & Proposal Development – Learn how financial strategies drive competitive pricing and proposals.
✅ Operations Finance – Work with cross-functional teams to align financial data with business performance.

✅ Qualifications & Skills

🔹 Required Qualifications:

✔ Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Program – Must be a rising senior graduating in December 2025 or Summer 2026.
✔ Relevant Field of Study – Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – Experience with pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
✔ Results-Driven & Analytical Mindset – Ability to innovate, solve problems, and adapt quickly.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications:

✔ Data Visualization Skills – Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
✔ Technical Knowledge – Familiarity with SQL, DAX, VBA, and automation tools.
✔ Attention to Detail – Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining and financial modeling.
✔ Broad Business Perspective – Ability to see the bigger picture while focusing on financial accuracy.
