Key Responsibilities
πΉ Claims Processing & Fraud Prevention: Assist in determining monetary eligibility, detecting fraud, and maintaining employer and claimant accounts.
π Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize federal, state, and departmental databases to analyze information and determine appropriate actions for UI and Disability Insurance (DI) programs.
π Accounting & Financial Management: Perform entry-level professional accounting tasks under the supervision of a Senior Accounting Officer.
π Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure financial transactions and records are accurate and align with state and federal regulations.
π Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Adapt to frequent workload changes and assist in resolving financial discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills
βοΈ Education & Experience: Recent graduates or individuals with foundational knowledge in accounting principles.
βοΈ Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
βοΈ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with claimants, employers, and internal teams.
βοΈ Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience handling financial data.
βοΈ Time Management: Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
