📚 About the Course

This three-credit lecture course explores domestic and international sport management, including the Olympic movement and the globalization of U.S. professional sports. You’ll engage students in understanding how global sports organizations function and evolve.

🎓 Key Responsibilities for an Adjunct Instructor

Teach undergraduate students enrolled in PRST 2080
Deliver engaging lectures on sport globalization and management
Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and class participation
Maintain electronic communication and provide support outside class
Submit grades promptly and clearly explain evaluation criteria
Maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues

✅ Required Qualifications

College-level teaching experience
Professional background in the sport industry (domestic or international)
Experience in interscholastic or intercollegiate athletic administration

💲 Compensation

Pay is commensurate with experience, education, and course enrollment
One-semester appointment; renewable depending on department needs
