🔹 About the Role

AKRS Equipment is hiring an Ag Technical Training Coordinator to lead and develop technical training programs for our aftermarket teams, with a strong focus on technician development. This role is instrumental in ensuring our teams stay at the forefront of agricultural equipment technology.

As a part of our exceptional training team, you’ll oversee John Deere University requirements, create engaging training content, and mentor employees to enhance performance and productivity.

📌 Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and deliver training for the Tech Apprentice Program.
✅ Oversee John Deere University training schedules and compliance.
✅ Obtain certification and instruct John Deere-curated courses.
✅ Identify training needs through data analysis and manager consultation.
✅ Design and deliver customized training content for service and parts teams.
✅ Evaluate employee skills, performance, and knowledge gaps.
✅ Represent AKRS Equipment at technician recruitment events.

🎯 Qualifications & Skills

📌 Experience: 5+ years in technician training & development (preferably in Ag Equipment).
📚 Education: Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
🛠️ Technical Knowledge: Strong agricultural equipment expertise.
🎤 Communication Skills: Ability to coach, develop, and train effectively.
📈 Training Development: Experience in creating training content is a plus.
🚗 Flexibility: Willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
