About the Role – Assistant Site Manager

Brookfield Residential is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing home construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that all homes are built on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain safety, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Oversight & Project Management:

• Assist in planning construction procedures, schedules, and material requirements.
• Oversee work-in-progress, ensuring all projects meet company quality standards and specifications.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and Project Team to maintain efficient workflows and minimize delays.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations related to land development and residential construction.

Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction:

• Maintain clean and well-organized job sites with professionally managed on-site facilities.
• Follow the Quality Control Inspection Program to ensure homes meet Brookfield Residential’s high standards.
• Conduct final walkthroughs with homeowners, ensuring all customer expectations are met.
• Address punch lists and required corrections within one week and obtain customer sign-off.
• Close out homes with completed walkthroughs and quality control approvals.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Develop strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain high-quality performance.
• Ensure all homes meet timely delivery expectations, providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Communicate project updates with the Site Manager, construction teams, and stakeholders.
• Assist with scheduling, inspections, and site coordination efforts to streamline the construction process.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔️ Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction as an Assistant Superintendent or similar role.
✔️ Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
✔️ Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to construction challenges.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
✔️ Basic proficiency in construction-related computer applications.
✔️ Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
