About the Role
BNP Paribas is hiring an Associate for its Sector Investment Banking & M&A Advisory team in New York, NY. This role focuses on executing and originating investment banking transactions, providing financial advisory services, and working closely with senior leadership to drive strategic deals.
Key Responsibilities
β Transaction Execution & Origination:
- Lead and support M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance transactions.
- Assist in deal structuring, valuation, and financial modeling.
- Prepare detailed pitch books, industry research, and financial analysis.
β Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors, and internal teams.
- Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors, and Vice Presidents to manage transactions.
- Support due diligence and deal negotiations.
β Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Mentor and oversee analysts in financial modeling & research.
- Coordinate across global BNP Paribas teams for seamless deal execution.
Requirements
πΉ Education & Experience:
β Bachelorβs degree with 2+ years of investment banking experience.
β Prior exposure to M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance preferred.
πΉ Technical & Soft Skills:
β Strong financial modeling & valuation skills.
β High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
β Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
πΉ Certifications:
β FINRA Series 63, 79, and SIE licenses (or willingness to obtain).
