Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in New York, US. In this role, you will bring your deep financial services and project management experience to help clients manage Treasury operations and support software delivery within a highly dynamic environment. You’ll be working closely with various teams to provide innovative solutions that ensure optimal performance and risk management for clients.

As a Business Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in Treasury products (such as FX swaps, bonds, and derivatives), project management, and the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) to support both strategic and tactical business initiatives. You will work to streamline workflows, provide actionable insights, and assist in system development and enhancements.


Key Responsibilities

🔍 Treasury & Financial Services Expertise:

  • Utilize your strong knowledge of Treasury products like FX swaps and bonds to advise clients on operational improvements.
  • Support the lifecycle of derivatives functionality, particularly with respect to hedging and trade coverage.

💼 Project Management & SDLC:

  • Lead project management efforts, managing various aspects of the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Help translate client needs into technical specifications, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

🛠 Tool & Process Optimization:

  • Support the implementation of front office deal booking tools (e.g., Summit, Murex).
  • Collaborate on process improvements and automation to increase efficiency in Treasury operations and trading of derivatives.

🧑‍💼 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify gaps in current systems and processes.
  • Provide insightful business recommendations and technical solutions, aiding in decision-making and strategy development.

Basic Qualifications

🎓 Education & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial services or consulting, with a focus on Treasury operations and products.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management within the context of software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).

💻 Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Treasury products including FX swaps, bonds, and derivatives.
  • Experience with front office deal booking tools such as Summit or Murex.
  • Hands-on SQL experience for data manipulation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

🏆 Certifications & Additional Skills:

  • MP Certification in Summit or similar applications is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Summit Application and the Treasury trade lifecycle.

📈 Project Management & Communication Skills:

  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
