U.S. Bank is seeking a Call Center Customer Service Collector to assist customers with debt repayment solutions while ensuring compliance with collection policies. This role involves inbound and outbound calls, critical thinking, and problem-solving to help customers manage their financial obligations. π Key Responsibilities
βοΈ Customer Engagement & Collections
- Handle inbound & outbound calls to assist customers with loan payments & repayment plans.
- Educate customers on payment options and help them avoid delinquency.
- Negotiate and arrange repayment schedules in compliance with company policies.
βοΈ Problem-Solving & Compliance
- Follow state & local collection laws to ensure ethical debt collection.
- Maintain accurate records and document interactions in the system.
- Provide solutions-focused customer service to enhance client retention.
βοΈ Performance & Target Achievement
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection goals.
- Stay updated with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and process improvements.
π Requirements & Qualifications
πΉ Education: High School Diploma or GED
πΉ Experience:
- 1+ year in collections or customer service.
- Familiarity with loan collection policies, debt collection laws, and fair debt practices is a plus.
πΉ Skills:
- Strong negotiation & communication skills.
- Problem-solving & critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage targets & deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel & CRM software.
πΉ Work Schedule:

Monday – Saturday (7 AM β 9 PM CST, 5-day workweek including two evening shifts).
πΉ Training:

4 weeks paid training (Monday – Friday, 8 AM β 5 PM CST) starting May 5th, 2025.
