As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions in hospital and outpatient settings. This includes:

• Conducting stress tests, nuclear testing, and other diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient heart health.
• Managing follow-up care for patients with cardiac conditions in both hospital and outpatient settings.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
• Educating patients on treatment plans, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to improve heart health.
• Maintaining detailed medical records and ensuring accurate documentation.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

🩺 Patient Evaluations & Follow-Ups – Provide comprehensive follow-up care for cardiology patients in hospital and outpatient settings.
📋 Stress & Nuclear Testing – Perform and interpret stress tests & nuclear cardiac testing.
🏥 Hospital & Outpatient Support – Work closely with cardiologists, nurses & medical staff to deliver top-tier patient care.
🔄 Interdisciplinary Collaboration – Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams.
📑 Medical Documentation – Maintain accurate & up-to-date patient records.

🛠️ Required Qualifications

✅ Education & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN Required)
• 1-2 years of cardiology experience as a Nurse Practitioner

✅ Licensure & Certifications:

• Active or Eligible New Jersey Nurse Practitioner License
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Basic Life Support (BLS) Certifications Required

✅ Skills & Traits:

• Strong clinical expertise in cardiology & patient management
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
