Your Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant

✔ Deliver Direct Patient Care & Assistance

• Assist residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

• Support safe transfers and positioning using proper techniques.

✔ Observe & Report Patient Health

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental status to the nursing team.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities.

✔ Ensure a Clean & Safe Environment

• Keep resident rooms and common areas tidy to promote hygiene and comfort.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

✔ Provide Emotional Support & Companionship

• Build meaningful relationships with residents to enhance their well-being.

• Assist in recreational activities to encourage engagement and socialization.

✔ Collaborate with the Healthcare Team

• Work closely with nurses and other caregivers to ensure high-quality care.

• Support medical teams with basic procedures and patient transport.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Valid Connecticut CNA Certification (Required)
✔ Proficiency in English (Required)
✔ Previous CNA Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
✔ COVID-19 Primary Series Vaccination (Booster Not Required – Medical & Religious Exemptions Available)
✔ Strong Communication, Compassion & Teamwork Skills
