Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing

🔹 Design & Technical Support
✔ Assist in civil site development for waterfront infrastructure, including grading, stormwater systems, erosion control, and utility planning.
✔ Collaborate with structural, coastal, and rehabilitation engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
✔ Perform engineering calculations and prepare preliminary design drafts.

🔹 Project Research & Documentation
✔ Study, analyze, and document design criteria and engineering codes.
✔ Conduct research on industry standards and present findings to the team.
✔ Review project specifications and assist with cost estimation.

🔹 Site Visits & Field Work (if required)
✔ Participate in on-site inspections and assist with project evaluations.
✔ Navigate natural terrain or unpaved areas while carrying equipment.

🔹 Software & Technical Tools
✔ Utilize AutoCAD and other design software for technical drawings and reports.
✔ Gain exposure to advanced engineering tools and methodologies.

📌 Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support project needs.

Qualifications – Who Should Apply?

✅ Current Civil Engineering Student – Must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
✅ Minimum Junior-Level Standing – Must have completed fundamental engineering coursework.
✅ Strong Academic Performance – Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 required.
✅ AutoCAD Experience – Must have experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software through coursework or previous projects.
✅ Internship or Related Experience Preferred – While not required, previous engineering internship experience is a plus.
✅ Strong Analytical & Research Skills – Ability to analyze engineering plans, site data, and technical reports.
