Position Overview: Clerical Associate

As a Clerical Associate, you will be a key member of the Revenue Cycle Process, providing administrative and clerical support within the Patient Financial Services and Cash Posting Unit. Your work will ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions, correspondence, and record management to support hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

📌 Correspondence Processing: Retrieve, print, sort, and review correspondence from Receivables Edge and identify relevant documentation via Epic.
📌 Scanning & Distribution: Scan and distribute correspondence accurately to ensure efficient document tracking.
📌 Front Desk & Customer Service: Handle reception duties, including answering phone calls and assisting customers. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred.
📌 Administrative Tasks: Perform photocopying, scanning, faxing, and mail distribution to keep records organized.
📌 Itemized Billing Requests: Retrieve, produce, and send itemized bills for legal matters while maintaining proper tracking systems.
📌 Mail Sorting & Distribution: Sort, process, and distribute mail for internal departments.
📌 Special Projects: Assist with departmental projects and other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Requirements:

📌 Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
📌 Experience: Minimum six (6) months of full-time clerical experience OR relevant customer service experience (e.g., processing sales, handling customer concerns, order processing, etc.).
