This part-time faculty position supports undergraduate nursing students through simulation-based learning experiences that enhance clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and team communication.

🎓 Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage high-fidelity simulation mannequins and related equipment

• Design and facilitate pre-briefing and debriefing sessions with nursing students

• Serve as a technical expert in simulation lab procedures and best practices

• Collaborate with simulation faculty to enhance experiential learning

• Support Oakland University’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Maintain and update personal simulation and clinical competencies

• Availability for occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed

✅ Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing or a related field

• Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license

• Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience

• Up-to-date clinical knowledge and competency

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Physically able to move simulation equipment/mannequins

• Prior simulation experience (training provided if needed)

• Experience teaching in higher education or clinical environments
