About the Role – Construction Manager – LC

We are looking for a Construction Manager – LC to oversee and manage home renovations, vendor relationships, and project execution across a designated Metro Service Area (MSA). This role is critical in ensuring that all renovation projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The Construction Manager will lead a team of Construction Superintendents, oversee the vendor base, and drive performance in cost control, quality assurance, and scheduling.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management & Execution:

  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to efficiently complete home renovation projects.
  • Allocate resources to minimize downtime, control costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Review project scopes, budgets, and change orders, ensuring they align with company construction and quality standards.
  • Track project progress, schedules, and budget adjustments, making necessary changes when required.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building and safety regulations.

Vendor & Team Management:

  • Oversee and manage vendor relationships and performance in collaboration with the National Vendor Management Group.
  • Ensure all vendors comply with company procurement policies and meet performance expectations.
  • Hire, train, and develop Construction Superintendents, ensuring they follow best practices and company processes.
  • Identify training opportunities and assist in the professional development of team members.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Monitor and track daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Accurately report work progress, budgets, and procurement activities.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist in creating and managing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership teams.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with Regional Construction Directors to ensure proper staffing and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the National Operations Team to drive efficiency and process improvements.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with team members, vendors, and company leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

✔️ 5+ years of experience in residential construction management, senior superintendent roles, or homebuilding project leadership.
✔️ Strong knowledge of construction techniques, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and landscaping.
✔️ Understanding of International Building Codes (IBC) and rental property safety regulations.
✔️ Experience managing multiple staff members across different locations.
✔️ Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and vendors.
✔️ Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce, Yardi, and other project management tools.
✔️ Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
