π Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative (Dispute Resolution) β Intermediate serves as the first point of contact for consumers addressing credit report disputes, inquiries, and concerns. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, educating consumers, and resolving credit-related issues to support our goal of being the most consumer-friendly Credit Reporting Agency (CRA).

π Key Responsibilities
π Handle inbound escalated consumer calls regarding credit reports.
π Investigate and resolve credit disputes, including duplicate entries, outdated records, and collection items.
π’ Provide education on credit information, credit file interpretations, and Equifax products.
π Verify consumer data and ensure the accuracy of credit file information.
π Document all customer interactions accurately in the system.
βοΈ Meet performance metrics such as quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
π Show empathy, patience, and active listening to deliver a positive consumer experience.
π’ Serve as a backup for Equifaxβs other customer service locations when needed.
π‘ Recommend improvements to customer service policies and procedures.
π― Qualifications & Skills
π Required:
βοΈ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
βοΈ Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (phone, chat, online, or in-person).
βοΈ Ability to type efficiently (minimum 20 WPM).
βοΈ Availability to attend 6 weeks of fixed-schedule training.
βοΈ Reliable attendance & ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Atlanta, GA.
βοΈ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
βοΈ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
βοΈ Attention to detail, with a focus on consumer privacy and data security.
βοΈ Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic while assisting consumers.
βοΈ Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
π Preferred:
βοΈ Previous experience in a call center or customer service role.
βοΈ Experience handling sensitive consumer financial data.
βοΈ Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
