Role Overview 🎯

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in securing Kaléo’s sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and strengthening our overall security posture. Your expertise in DLP tools, cybersecurity principles, and security frameworks will drive our cybersecurity strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities 🔐

✅ Implement & Manage DLP Solutions:

• Lead the deployment and maintenance of DLP tools across various platforms.
• Continuously monitor DLP alerts and analyze security incidents.
• Fine-tune security policies to minimize false positives and maximize protection.

✅ Develop & Enforce Security Policies:

• Draft and implement DLP strategies and policies aligned with compliance requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, NIST CSF 2.0, and NIST 800-53.
• Regularly update security policies to address evolving cyber threats.

✅ Monitor & Analyze Security Events:

• Conduct root cause analyses of security breaches and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Generate reports and provide insights into data security trends and vulnerabilities.

✅ User Awareness & Training:

• Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for employees.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of data security awareness.

✅ Risk Management & Compliance Oversight:

• Perform data security risk assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with industry standards and legal frameworks.

✅ Provide Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Offer hands-on support for DLP-related security concerns.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for software updates, patches, and enhancements.

🏆Requirements

🎯 Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data protection, and DLP administration.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with DLP tools such as Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec DLP, or McAfee.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and risk management practices.

🎯 Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are a plus.
• Located near Richmond, VA or willing to travel occasionally.
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
