We are currently seeking a Desktop Systems Specialist to join our IT End User Technology Team at our San Diego, CA office. This on-site role involves providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations of computer systems and applications.   • πŸ” Diagnose & resolve IT issues related to desktop, laptop, and network services.
  • ☎️ Provide technical support via help desk for employees using local and remote network access.
  • πŸ”„ Maintain system efficiency by imaging and deploying desktops and upgrading to Windows 10 & 11.
  • πŸ–¨οΈ Install & configure hardware such as printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • πŸ“‚ Document issues & solutions in the RemedyForce ticketing system.
  • πŸš€ Create and improve SOPs for IT processes and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • πŸ“‘ Utilize remote tools such as Remote Assistance & TeamViewer to assist users.
  • 🀝 Build strong relationships with users, ensuring a positive IT support experience.

πŸ‘€ Qualifications & Skills

  • πŸŽ“ Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • πŸ’» Experience: 0-2 years in a corporate IT support role preferred.
  • πŸ—£οΈ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assist both novice and experienced computer users.
  • ⏳ Time Management: Ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
  • πŸ’‘ Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware/software issues.
  • πŸ› οΈ Technical Skills: Experience with HP & Dell hardware, hardware replacements (HDD, memory, keyboards, etc.), and system upgrades.
