π― The Role
We are currently seeking a Desktop Systems Specialist to join our IT End User Technology Team at our San Diego, CA office. This on-site role involves providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations of computer systems and applications. If you are customer-focused, reliable, and eager to grow in IT support, this role is perfect for you.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Diagnose & resolve IT issues related to desktop, laptop, and network services.
- βοΈ Provide technical support via help desk for employees using local and remote network access.
- π Maintain system efficiency by imaging and deploying desktops and upgrading to Windows 10 & 11.
- π¨οΈ Install & configure hardware such as printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- π Document issues & solutions in the RemedyForce ticketing system.
- π Create and improve SOPs for IT processes and troubleshooting guidelines.
- π‘ Utilize remote tools such as Remote Assistance & TeamViewer to assist users.
- π€ Build strong relationships with users, ensuring a positive IT support experience.
π€ Qualifications & Skills
- π Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelorβs degree or relevant certification preferred.
- π» Experience: 0-2 years in a corporate IT support role preferred.
- π£οΈ Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assist both novice and experienced computer users.
- β³ Time Management: Ability to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
- π‘ Problem-Solving: Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware/software issues.
- π οΈ Technical Skills: Experience with HP & Dell hardware, hardware replacements (HDD, memory, keyboards, etc.), and system upgrades.
- π― Reliability: Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

π΅ Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $20.60 – $27.28 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
