📌 Job Overview

Are you passionate about digital content organization, metadata management, and asset workflow optimization? DEMDACO is seeking a Digital Asset Specialist to manage, organize, and maintain our digital content library with precision and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for cataloging, maintaining metadata, troubleshooting asset management systems, and ensuring efficient asset retrieval.

This role is ideal for an analytical thinker who enjoys working independently on computer-based systems while collaborating with creative and marketing teams to ensure content is effectively stored, accessed, and utilized.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Digital Asset Management & Organization

  • Manage the collection, categorization, and archival of digital content assets within platforms like WebDAM and Salsify.
  • Assign metadata, taxonomy, and naming conventions to ensure seamless content search and retrieval.
  • Maintain records of licenses, releases, and expiration dates for all assets.

✔️ Metadata & Content Rights Management

  • Perform regular audits and data clean-ups to correct inconsistencies and ensure accurate metadata and asset usage rights.
  • Track and document guiding principles for digital asset workflows.
  • Monitor storage space optimization and ensure proper archival practices.

✔️ System Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Assist in technical upgrades, troubleshooting, and system improvements for digital asset platforms.
  • Ensure smooth platform operations by working closely with IT and content teams.

✔️ Business Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Generate detailed reports on asset usage and business performance for strategic analysis.
  • Provide insights to improve digital asset management workflows.

✔️ Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and eCommerce teams to optimize asset utilization.
  • Support internal users by retrieving, organizing, and managing digital content requests.

🔎 Required Skills & Qualifications

📌 Must-Have Qualifications:
✔️ 1-3 years of experience in digital asset management or related fields.
✔️ Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage large digital libraries.
✔️ Experience using Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems such as Bynder WebDAM, Brand Connect, or Salsify.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
✔️ Detail-oriented with excellent workflow management and troubleshooting skills.

📌 Preferred Experience:
✔️ Knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
✔️ Familiarity with taxonomy, metadata, and asset vocabulary best practices.
✔️ Experience in archival and lifecycle maintenance of digital assets.
✔️ Understanding of servers and data storage management.

📌 Education Requirement:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Continuing education & professional development certifications in Digital Asset Management are a plus!
