We are seeking a Digital Media Analyst Intern to join our St. Louis, MO team for a structured 10-12 week internship program. This hands-on experience will allow you to collaborate with industry experts, gain invaluable insights into digital advertising, and work on real-world campaigns that shape the future of media strategy.
π Internship Overview & Learning Opportunities
This internship is designed to provide real-world experience in digital advertising strategy and analytics. You will gain exposure to:
β Data-Driven Digital Strategies β Learn how to develop and execute effective advertising campaigns.
β Advertising Performance Analytics β Work with data visualization, analytics tools, and campaign insights.
β Cross-Department Collaboration β Engage with various teams, including creative, sales, and strategy, to ensure ad success.
β Professional Development & Leadership Training β Participate in roundtable discussions, mentorship opportunities, and career development activities.
β Final Capstone Project β Present your findings and insights to Drive Social Mediaβs leadership team at the conclusion of the program.
π Key Responsibilities
β
Campaign Strategy & Analysis: Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven advertising strategies aligned with brand objectives and audience insights.
β
Performance Troubleshooting: Utilize investigative analytical techniques to identify and resolve campaign performance issues.
β
Advertising Platforms & Tools: Gain hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other digital ad platforms (bonus points for experience with TikTok, Twitter, Snap, and LinkedIn Ads).

Data Insights & Reporting: Create detailed performance reports, analyzing key campaign metrics to provide actionable recommendations.

Communication & Presentation: Effectively translate data insights into clear and concise reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Industry Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
β
Capstone Project: Complete a final project showcasing your ability to analyze, optimize, and present findings on a digital advertising campaign.
π― Qualifications & Skills
πΉ Education: Must be a rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university. Preferred fields include Data Science, Analytics, Communications, Media Studies, or related disciplines.
πΉ GPA Requirement: Cumulative 3.0 or higher (preferred).
πΉ Technical Proficiency: Experience with data cleaning, validation, and visualization using Excel and SQL.
πΉ Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and insights.
πΉ Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data in an understandable way to stakeholders.
πΉ Collaboration & Teamwork: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
πΉ Social Media & Advertising Knowledge: Understanding of PPC campaigns, digital marketing best practices, and emerging platform trends.
πΉ Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Suite, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or Hootsuite is a plus.
πΉ Adaptability & Deadline Management: Ability to respond to feedback, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
