π Position Overview
β Teach college-level courses to high school students through the Sierra College Dual Enrollment Program
β Create engaging and interactive learning experiences tailored to diverse student needs
β Implement culturally responsive teaching methods that foster inclusivity and academic growth
β Maintain clear communication with students, faculty, and school administrators
β Assess and support students to ensure academic achievement and college readiness
β Participate in mandatory instructor training before the start of the assignment
π Minimum Qualifications
All Dual Enrollment Instructors must meet the minimum qualification standards set by the California Community College Chancellorβs Office.
Candidates who do not outright meet these requirements may apply for equivalency consideration. The equivalency process evaluates the applicant’s education, coursework, relevant experience, and teaching skills to determine qualification eligibility.
