Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge power plant technologies? Curtiss-Wright’s Enertech division is hiring for an Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced power plant solutions, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and Generation IV nuclear power plants.

This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and test electro-mechanical components and systems for domestic and international projects. You’ll work collaboratively with engineering teams, applying your expertise in electrical design, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

🛠 Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Work On

🔹 Electrical Design & Development

• Develop circuitry for electric motors, exciters, sensors, and transformers.
• Create wiring diagrams and electrical schematics for various products.
• Support new product development and upgrades of existing products.

🔹 Project Implementation & Manufacturing Support

• Translate product requirements into electrical designs.
• Define electrical implementation solutions and evaluate trade-offs.
• Provide complete design packages to transition projects into manufacturing.
• Support factory teams by troubleshooting production issues.

🔹 Testing, Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Design and conduct engineering experiments, collect data, and analyze results.
• Perform failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.

🎓 What You Need – Required Qualifications

✔️ Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an electric or electro-mechanical design environment.

✔️ Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of electric motors and power circuits.
• Experience with power electronics and data acquisition systems.
• Understanding of control systems, PLCs, and their programming.
• Familiarity with electronic boards and their design process.

✔️ Soft Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and diagrammatic communication skills.
• Detail-oriented while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
