Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

🔹 Engineering & Technical Problem-Solving
✔ Work on multidisciplinary projects supporting NORAD, USNORTHCOM, and USSPACECOM.
✔ Apply electrical and computer engineering principles to real-world challenges.
✔ Solve problem sets related to cybersecurity, space operations, and defense systems.

🔹 Research & Development Support
✔ Assist in modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like MATLAB & SysML.
✔ Contribute to wireless communications, RF/EM, sensors, antennas, and embedded systems.
✔ Support resiliency analysis for critical infrastructure and Arctic Experimentation efforts.

🔹 Collaboration & Innovation
✔ Work alongside interns, early-career engineers, and experienced MITRE professionals.
✔ Learn about space as a warfighting domain and contribute to thought leadership.
✔ Engage in hands-on programming and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications – What You Need

✅ Education: Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
✅ Core Knowledge: Understanding of electrical engineering theory and expertise in one or more of the following:

• Digital Signal Processing
• Wireless Communications
• Computer Architecture
• Embedded Software & Security
• Cryptography
• RF/EM & Sensors
• Power Systems & Photonics
  ✅ Academic Performance: Demonstrated excellence in coursework and technical projects.
  ✅ Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
  ✅ Software & Tools: Experience with MATLAB, SysML, or similar modeling tools.
  ✅ Interest in Public Service: Passion for solving national security challenges.
