Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

βœ” Work on multidisciplinary projects supporting NORAD, USNORTHCOM, and USSPACECOM.
βœ” Apply electrical and computer engineering principles to real-world challenges.
βœ” Solve problem sets related to cybersecurity, space operations, and defense systems.

πŸ”Ή Research & Development Support
βœ” Assist in modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like MATLAB & SysML.
βœ” Contribute to wireless communications, RF/EM, sensors, antennas, and embedded systems.
βœ” Support resiliency analysis for critical infrastructure and Arctic Experimentation efforts.

Qualifications – What You Need

βœ… Education: Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
βœ… Core Knowledge: Understanding of electrical engineering theory and expertise in one or more of the following:

  • Digital Signal Processing
  • Wireless Communications
  • Computer Architecture
  • Embedded Software & Security
  • Cryptography
  • RF/EM & Sensors
  • Power Systems & Photonics
    βœ… Academic Performance: Demonstrated excellence in coursework and technical projects.
    βœ… Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
    βœ… Software & Tools: Experience with MATLAB, SysML, or similar modeling tools.
    βœ… Interest in Public Service: Passion for solving national security challenges.
