About the Internship
As an Engineering Intern at GPI, you will be involved in improvement projects, collaborating with experienced engineers to optimize processes, enhance equipment reliability, and implement cutting-edge technologies. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in both laboratory and manufacturing environments, giving you the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
πΉ Assist with process improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
πΉ Work on process control optimization and support trials for new technologies.
πΉ Analyze data sets, interpret results, and implement solutions.
πΉ Lead and complete one or more projects from start to finish during the internship period.
πΉ Participate in engineering support activities across multiple departments.
πΉ Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training manuals.
πΉ Present updates and findings to the engineering department and company leadership team.
πΉ Ensure adherence to safety standards, driving best practices in safe operations.

Qualifications
Education & Background:
β Currently pursuing a Bachelorβs degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or a related discipline.

βοΈ Ability to work both independently and within a team.
βοΈ Comfortable in both lab and manufacturing environments.
βοΈ Experience working on projects from planning to execution.
βοΈ Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
βοΈ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
βοΈ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
βοΈ Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
