Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our Transportation Business Line in New York City. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure development. The selected candidate will work on real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a Fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities

๐Ÿ”น Field Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze engineering and environmental data under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Assist in scientific report preparation using collected data.

๐Ÿ”น Project Documentation & Reporting:

  • Develop technical figures, data tables, and high-quality reports.
  • Attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with follow-ups.
  • Conduct site visits and contribute to project progress tracking.

๐Ÿ”น Regulatory Compliance & Research:

  • Learn about federal, state, and local engineering regulations.
  • Assist in ensuring that projects meet legal and environmental standards.

๐Ÿ”น Software & Technical Skills Development:

  • Work with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other industry software.
  • Support transportation and infrastructure projects with engineering design and analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

โœ… Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Must have completed at least three years of study.
  • Recent graduates who plan to pursue a Masterโ€™s degree are also eligible.

โœ… Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in transportation engineering, infrastructure, and sustainability.
