Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our Transportation Business Line in New York City. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure development. The selected candidate will work on real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a Fortune 500 company.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Field Data Collection & Analysis:
- Gather, organize, and analyze engineering and environmental data under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist in scientific report preparation using collected data.
🔹 Project Documentation & Reporting:
- Develop technical figures, data tables, and high-quality reports.
- Attend project meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with follow-ups.
- Conduct site visits and contribute to project progress tracking.
🔹 Regulatory Compliance & Research:
- Learn about federal, state, and local engineering regulations.
- Assist in ensuring that projects meet legal and environmental standards.
🔹 Software & Technical Skills Development:
- Work with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other industry software.
- Support transportation and infrastructure projects with engineering design and analysis.
Qualifications & Requirements
✅ Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Must have completed at least three years of study.
- Recent graduates who plan to pursue a Master’s degree are also eligible.
✅ Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interest in transportation engineering, infrastructure, and sustainability.

📍 Location: Hybrid role – Must be available to work onsite in NYC on a scheduled basis.
