Atlantic Group, a premier executive search and staffing firm, is seeking a Field Engineer to support a leading distribution client. This field-based role spans across New York City and Long Island, where you will provide technical leadership, support sales and service teams, and drive customer success through expert engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

🔹 Technical Sales & Support

✔ Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers, assisting with product selection, system evaluations, and troubleshooting.
✔ Optimize fluid handling systems to enhance operational efficiency and performance.

🔹 Engineering Design & System Optimization

✔ Develop Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Bill of Materials (BOMs), and other technical documentation for custom solutions.
✔ Conduct system analysis and diagnostics, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost-saving solutions.

🔹 Customer Engagement & Business Development

✔ Work directly with clients, delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
✔ Identify new business opportunities by recommending customized engineering solutions tailored to customer needs.

🔹 Collaboration & Innovation

✔ Provide feedback on product performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
✔ Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring

🔹 Education & Experience

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical discipline required).
✔ Prior experience in fluid systems, mechanical engineering, or technical field support is highly preferred.

🔹 Technical Skills

✔ Proficiency in P&ID development, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to present technical concepts clearly.

🔹 Travel & Work Flexibility

✔ Ability and willingness to travel 10-20% for customer site visits and project work.
✔ Must be comfortable working in a field-based role across New York City and Long Island.
