About the Role – Field Specialist Responsibilities:

The Family Dollar Field Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of daily store operations. You will work closely with Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to maintain high standards, improve customer satisfaction, and implement company policies across multiple store locations.

✔ Support store teams to ensure a positive customer experience at all assigned locations.
✔ Assist in key operational tasks such as staffing audits, loss prevention, inventory preparation, and retraining team members to enhance store performance.
✔ Work closely with management to execute operational procedures that align with Family Dollar’s store standards.
✔ Conduct Mystery Shopping evaluations and provide valuable insights to improve service quality.
✔ Perform additional projects and duties as assigned by the Area Operations Manager and Performance Manager.

Requirements – What We’re Looking For:

📌 Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have the ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives such as merchandise schematics.
📌 Experience: Retail, grocery, or drug store management experience is preferred. Prior experience in store operations, customer service, or team leadership is a plus!
📌 Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel locally and overnight as needed. A valid Driver’s License is required.
📌 Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (and occasionally up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height. Role requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
📌 Availability: Must be available for a full-time, flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
📌 Skills & Competencies: Strong customer focus, communication, problem-solving, relationship management, decision-making, and organizational skills.
