The Opportunity

We are looking for an Accounting & Financial Reporting Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers valuable, real-world exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or related degrees.

As an intern, you will assist in preparing financial statements, support the month-end close process, contribute to SEC reporting, and gain exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. If you are a motivated, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn individual, this role is perfect for you!

What You’ll Do

✅ Month-End Close Assistance: Prepare complex and routine journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
✅ Financial Reconciliations: Assist in monthly account reconciliations to support financial integrity.
✅ Financial Statement Preparation: Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements.
✅ SEC Reporting & SOX Compliance: Learn about regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC filings.
✅ Internal Controls & Documentation: Help document accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.
✅ Technology & Process Automation: Explore robotic process automation and data visualization to enhance operational efficiency.
✅ Special Projects & Collaboration: Work closely with finance team members on key projects and accounting initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

✔️ Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
✔️ Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
✔️ Basic understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
✔️ A self-motivated and eager-to-learn attitude with an interest in finance and accounting
