📚 Teaching & Instruction:

✔️ Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Tennessee State Standards.
✔️ Teach a variety of high school math courses, which may include Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
✔️ Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
✔️ Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
✔️ Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.

📊 Assessment & Student Growth:

✔️ Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
✔️ Adapt teaching strategies based on data-driven instruction.
✔️ Prepare students for state assessments, standardized tests, and college readiness exams.

✔️ Work closely with faculty, parents, and administrators to support student success.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

📜 Required Credentials:

✔️ Valid Tennessee Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one).
✔️ Endorsement Codes: 013, 125, 413.

💡 Hiring Bonus Details

Rutherford County Schools offers a $4,000 signing bonus for teachers in high-demand subjects, including grades 6-12 Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Must hold a valid Tennessee teaching license with the appropriate endorsement in Mathematics.
✔️ Must be new to Rutherford County Schools OR an existing employee who has not previously taught in these designated high-need areas.
✔️ The $4,000 bonus is paid in two installments:

💰 $2,000 in the Fall
💰 $2,000 in the Spring
✔️ Signing bonus is contingent on final employment approval.
