π― Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Human Resources Consultant to join our growing team in St. Louis, MO. This role will be instrumental in delivering expert HR guidance and consulting services to a diverse client base. The consultant will support employment law compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HRIS implementations.

πΌ Key Responsibilities
- π HR Compliance & Employment Law: Provide guidance on federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring clients remain compliant with all regulations.
- π€ Employee Relations & Performance Management: Offer strategic HR support, helping businesses develop policies, resolve conflicts, and improve employee performance.
- π HR Policy Development: Create, revise, and implement customized HR policies tailored to each clientβs needs.
- βοΈ HRIS & Workflow Optimization: Partner with clients to implement and manage HR information systems (HRIS), maintain personnel records, and streamline HR processes.
- π₯ Benefits Administration: Assist clients with payroll processing, benefit management, COBRA administration, and billing reconciliation.
- π HR Audits & Risk Management: Conduct HR audits to identify gaps and ensure adherence to best practices.
- π Multi-State HR Support: Provide HR consulting services to clients operating across multiple states, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- π€ Training & Client Support: Deliver presentations, training sessions, and workshops to help clients implement best HR practices.
- π Project Management: Lead HR-related projects, implementations, and process improvements while meeting deadlines and maintaining high client satisfaction.
π§ Preferred Qualifications
- π Bachelorβs Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- π 3+ years of professional HR experience in consulting, benefits administration, or compliance.
- π Experience managing multi-state HR functions and compliance regulations.
- π’ Proven expertise in HR consulting, outsourcing, and working with external clients.
- π Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- π¬ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- π Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- β HR Certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus!
π Minimum Qualifications
- π High School Diploma or GED.
- π Minimum 3 years of HR experience in employee relations, payroll, or benefits administration.
- π― Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- π¬ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- π€ Ability to present HR policies and strategies effectively.
