Our Summer Internship Program (June 2 – August 8, 2025) is designed to provide hands-on learning opportunities in cybersecurity and information security analysis. 🔎 Key Responsibilities: Hands-On Cybersecurity Training

As an Information Security Analyst Intern, you will gain practical experience while working closely with security analysts and engineers.

📋 Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

✅ Cybersecurity Operations & Threat Management

Assist security analysts and engineers with cybersecurity tasks and security tools management.
Monitor and respond to cyber threats including intrusions, malware infections, and network breaches.
Support cyber event reporting, escalation, and documentation.

✅ Incident Response & Risk Mitigation

Conduct open-source intelligence research and analyze data from enterprise security tools.
Help manage security incidents, such as denial-of-service attacks, privileged account misuse, and classified data spillage.
Take action on data gathered through customer reports and internal security systems.

✅ Documentation & Process Improvement

Create and update internal and external security documentation.
Assist in cybersecurity process enhancements and compliance efforts.
Work on projects that improve business outcomes and security protocols.

✅ Professional Development & Mentorship

Receive mentorship and coaching from senior cybersecurity professionals.
Participate in cross-functional team collaborations and cybersecurity initiatives.
Engage in social and community events to enhance your professional network.

🎯 Qualifications & Skills Required:

🎓 Education & Experience:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field).
Must be located in Houston, TX, for the summer internship program.
