🔎 Your Role

As an Information Security Entry Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding Xylem’s IT systems and data assets. You will monitor security threats, analyze risks, and assist in strengthening cybersecurity protocols under the guidance of experienced professionals.

📋 Core Responsibilities:

✅ Cybersecurity & Threat Management

• Configure and maintain network and system security devices, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
• Conduct forensic analysis and incident response to detect and mitigate cyber threats.
• Implement and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to protect sensitive information.

✅ Security Operations & Compliance

• Configure and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for real-time monitoring.
• Perform regular security assessments, penetration testing, and audits to ensure compliance.
• Assist in web application security testing and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.

✅ Identity & Access Management

• Manage user access controls and identity verification systems.
• Implement best practices for access management to prevent unauthorized data exposure.

✅ Incident Response & Crisis Management

• Assist in security incident response planning and crisis management coordination.
• Work with external auditors and vendors to maintain industry-standard security protocols.

✅ Security Awareness & Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and organizational security policies.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and contribute to ongoing security improvements.

🎯 Qualifications & Skills Required:

🎓 Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or network security is considered.

💡 Technical Skills & Knowledge:
✔️ Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
✔️ Familiarity with cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management strategies.
✔️ Hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, intrusion detection, and incident response is a plus.
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

🚀 Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS encryption, identity management, and network security architecture.
• Experience with forensics, security audits, and compliance management.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

📅 Work Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Work Available
💲 Salary Range: $63,500 – $101,600 per year
