Are you a Workday HR expert with a passion for digital transformation and HR system optimization? Vantive, a leading vital organ therapy company, is looking for an IT Consultant – HR Functional Lead (Workday) to support our Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and HR stakeholders to drive Workday implementation, configuration, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring our HR systems align with business needs, improving processes, and delivering innovative HR solutions that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

📋Responsibilities
✔️ Workday HR Systems Leadership
- Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HCM.
- Lead Workday cloning, migration, and configuration for HR processes.
- Provide expert-level guidance to HR stakeholders on Workday capabilities.
✔️ Strategic IT & HR Collaboration
- Partner with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), IT leaders, and HR teams to align technology with business objectives.
- Work with Product Owners to prioritize projects and optimize system enhancements.
✔️ HR Technology Innovation & Optimization
- Design, build, and launch Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) using Lean principles.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through technology and best practices.
✔️ Testing, Compliance, & Security
- Ensure all Workday configurations meet Vantive’s global HR model and compliance standards.
- Perform testing, validation, and deployment of Workday solutions.
✔️ Cross-Functional Support & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide Workday training, documentation, and best practices for HR teams.
- Work closely with IT and third-party providers to resolve technical issues.
✔️ Continuous Improvement & Workday Updates
- Stay informed on Workday’s latest releases and assess their impact on business processes.
- Manage security settings, report writing, calculated fields, and system integration.
🎯Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, HR Technology, or a related field.
✅ 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, with 3+ years of Workday implementation experience.
✅ Expertise in Workday Business Process Configuration, Talent Acquisition, and Advanced Compensation.
✅ Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions and Workday integration with payroll & benefits systems.
✅ Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
✅ Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
✅ Workday Core HCM Configuration certification preferred.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
