We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic IT Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Services team at AlixPartners in Southfield, MI. 📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Financial Operations & Reporting: Support invoice processing, ensure proper GL coding, and verify approvals before submission.
🔹 Vendor Management: Assist in vendor inquiries and payment processing, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
🔹 IT Financial Analytics: Develop financial reporting tools and dashboards, using predictive analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
🔹 Budget & Forecasting Support: Assist with monthly forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis by working closely with the Accounting and FP&A teams.
🔹 Procurement Review & Management: Evaluate procurement requests, confirm accuracy, align with budgets, and seek necessary approvals.
🔹 Data Visualization & Reporting: Utilize Excel, SAP S/4Hana, and Smartsheet to analyze data, create reports, and share insights with leadership.
🔹 Process Improvements: Identify inefficiencies in financial operations, recommend enhancements, and present solutions to the team confidently.
🔹 Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate software documentation in CLM solutions and enhance metadata for IT cost reporting.

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
✔ At least 1 year of professional experience in financial operations, IT cost analysis, or a related field.
✔ Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions for financial data analysis.
✔ Experience with SAP S/4Hana and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
✔ Familiarity with Smartsheet and ServiceNow for workflow management and reporting.
✔ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
✔ Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors, cross-functional teams, and leadership.
✔ Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Tuesday–Thursday in the office, Monday & Friday remote).
✔ Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
