About the Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant – Organization Change Management to join our Wells Fargo Auto division, part of the Wells Fargo Consumer Lending team. This position will take charge of developing and executing key strategies and plans aimed at ensuring both employees and customers are fully prepared for changes resulting from our projects. These changes will impact both dealers and consumers, and the role will involve preparing and deploying communication strategies, training plans, and change readiness plans.
The Change Management Lead will coordinate closely with internal departments such as Communications, Learning & Development, and Procedures teams to ensure the project’s success. The goal is to ensure that necessary changes are effectively communicated, training is delivered on time, and the project is fully integrated into business operations post-rollout.
Key Responsibilities:
📋 Lead & Strategize:
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute change management strategies across various business functions.
- Develop communication strategies and ensure successful training plans are implemented to support employees and customers.
- Manage and execute post-rollout training for new employees onboarded after the system changes.
🔧 Program & Initiative Management:
- Guide the execution of programs and initiatives to ensure business objectives are met while mitigating risks.
- Make complex decisions related to change management, ensuring alignment with business goals and minimizing resistance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that strategies are aligned and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
📈 Assessment & Optimization:
- Perform assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the current state versus the desired future state.
- Provide recommendations on business improvements and efficiency.
- Lead fact-finding activities and develop appropriate solutions for complex issues related to business performance and change management.
💬 Consultation & Influence:
- Influence senior leadership to ensure alignment on strategic decisions and drive the change management process forward.
- Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to build support for change initiatives and to ensure success.
- Support and mentor less experienced team members to enhance the overall capabilities of the Strategy and Execution group.
Required Qualifications:
🎓 Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning roles, or equivalent experience through work, training, or military background.
💼 Skills & Expertise:
- Change management experience, including developing communication and training plans.
- Large-scale project management experience, including the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting, and SharePoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to make complex decisions and recommendations based on data-driven assessments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of internal communication programs support and best practices.
- Experience managing communication and documentation projects in a matrix-managed environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
