🌟 About the Role:

Afton Chemical is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee outbound sample and tank truck shipments, ensure shipment compliance, and provide critical logistics and scheduling support. This position plays a key role in shipment inspections, documentation processing, and inventory tracking while ensuring safe and timely product movement. 🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sample shipments (hazardous/non-hazardous, air/ground) from start to finish

• Inspect outbound tank trucks and complete all shipping paperwork

• Pull and process delivery due lists and open SAP orders

• Update and manage tank truck scheduling using Excel

• Coordinate with production schedulers, supervisors, and trucking companies

• Compile weekly reports on late shipments and inventory using SAP and Excel

• Create, distribute, and file SAP shipping documents

• Perform occasional outdoor work and support other logistics desks (rail, warehouse)

• Provide vacation relief to Tank Truck Distribution Coordinator

✅ Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Ability to work off-shift/afternoon hours

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• English language proficiency (written and verbal)

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field)

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

• Knowledge of UPS WorldShip software

• Previous experience in logistics or transportation coordination

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $50,900 – $55,000/year
