π Job Overview: Precision, Quality, and Innovation
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support CNC machining, process optimization, and production planning. This role involves developing manufacturing methods, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with engineers to enhance manufacturability.
π Key Responsibilities:
β Manufacturing Process Development & Optimization
- Design and implement efficient production processes for machining complex aerospace components.
- Develop manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and routers.
- Collaborate with product design engineers to improve manufacturability.
β CNC Machining & Troubleshooting
- Analyze and optimize CNC machining operations, including material movement and work-holding techniques.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions to ensure precision and quality.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles for accurate production.
β Production Planning & Process Control
- Plan, schedule, and execute manufacturing activities for machining and system integration.
- Monitor and control production costs, time standards, and material procurement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
β Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct testing and inspections to maintain high-quality standards in production.
- Support internal audits and non-conformance investigations.
- Maintain records and reports to document manufacturing progress and improvements.
β Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and production capabilities.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to enhance production workflows.
π― Qualifications & Skills Required:
π Education & Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.
- 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or CNC machining.
πΌ Key Competencies:
βοΈ Strong knowledge of CNC machining, work-holding techniques, and material movement.
βοΈ Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
βοΈ Proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred), SAP, and Windchill.
βοΈ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in a manufacturing environment.
βοΈ Ability to use MS Office Suite (Excel, Project, Teams) for data tracking and reporting.
