As a Marketing Specialist in SEO, you will be responsible for optimizing search engine campaigns, performing keyword research, and enhancing organic traffic. You’ll work closely with various marketing and business teams to implement content strategies, ensuring that Fanatics continues to be at the forefront of digital sports marketing.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth keyword research and leverage data insights to execute successful SEO campaigns.
• Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including long-form content, blog posts, and Q&A pages.
• Manage content and SEO requests from internal teams, ensuring timely updates and campaign optimizations.
• Monitor and analyze search visibility, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve rankings.
• Collaborate with internal marketing teams, aligning SEO initiatives with broader business goals.
• Stay ahead of industry changes, trends, and search engine updates to continuously improve strategies.
• Analyze and communicate SEO performance effectively to stakeholders through reporting and presentations.
• Research industry best practices, identifying ways to enhance content development and SEO performance.
• Maintain the marketing calendar and prepare SEO strategies to align with upcoming campaigns and major sporting events.

🎓 Educational & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.

🛠 Skills & Qualifications:

• ✍️ Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar and punctuation.
• 📊 Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement SEO best practices.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis.
• 🖥️ Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies is a plus.
• 🔎 Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research platforms is helpful.
• 📅 Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
• 🏆 Passion for digital marketing, sports, and keeping up with industry trends.
• ✅ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 🔗 Experience with inbound linking and strategic linking initiatives is a plus.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

• 💵 Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (base pay, excludes incentives and bonuses).
