🕒 Schedule: Monday (9 AM – 6 PM), Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (7:15 AM – 4:30 PM)
📅 Thursdays Off | 32 Hours Weekly | .8 FTE
💰 Pay Range: $21.16 – $27.06 per hour (based on experience & qualifications)

✅ Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

🔹 Clinical Support & Patient Care

• Conduct pre-visit planning and assist with patient intake procedures.
• Perform vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate).
• Assist in routine medical procedures, injections, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and observations in the EMR.
• Identify patient education needs and provide appropriate instruction.

🔹 Medical Office & Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and infection control protocols.
• Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

🔹 Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and healthcare staff.
• Support patient handoffs, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Participate in training new personnel and contribute to team development.

📌 Qualifications & Requirements

✔️ Education & Certification (Must Meet One of the Following):

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Current MN License.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Current AAMA Certificate.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – Current AMT Certificate.
• Non-Certified Medical Assistant – Completion of an accredited program.
• Graduate of an accredited EMT program with a current EMT license.

✔️ Additional Requirements:

• CPR Certification (Required & Must Be Maintained).
• Strong knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.
