Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Medical Receptionist (Care Navigator), you will:

  • 🌟 Greet members with a friendly, welcoming demeanor and ensure a smooth check-in process.

  • 📝 Update member records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

  • 📅 Schedule and coordinate appointments for a multi-disciplinary care team.

  • 💬 Assist members with electronic paperwork and kiosk check-in.

  • 📑 Manage medical records, including requests and uploads to EMR.

  • 📞 Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring messages reach the right team members.

  • 🔎 Provide information to members and their families about services and care plans.

  • 🎉 Support center events and community outreach efforts as needed.


Qualifications

Education: Associate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical, healthcare, or customer service setting.

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus!
    Skills:

  • Strong customer service and people skills.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general PC skills.

  • Spanish-speaking skills (or other languages spoken in our communities) are a plus!


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This is a full-time, on-site position in a clinical setting.

  • The role involves sitting, standing, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

  • Regular interaction with senior members, families, and healthcare professionals.
