📌 Job Overview – Online Visiting Professor (Cloud Computing)

DeVry University is seeking industry professionals with a Master’s or Doctoral degree to teach Cloud Computing courses in an online environment.

As an Online Visiting Professor, you will:

✅ Teach practitioner-based courses in Cloud Computing, sharing your real-world expertise with students.
✅ Deliver engaging, interactive lectures using online learning platforms.
✅ Develop and update course materials, ensuring content remains current and industry-relevant.
✅ Provide mentorship and academic support, fostering student success in a virtual learning environment.
✅ Utilize modern educational tools such as online discussion boards, email, video conferencing, and course management software.
✅ Ensure fairness and consistency in grading, providing students with timely feedback on assignments and exams.
✅ Set clear course expectations, including learning objectives, assignment deadlines, and evaluation criteria.

Responsibilities & Key Duties

✔ Course Delivery & Instruction: Teach Cloud Computing courses in an online classroom environment.
✔ Syllabus & Lesson Planning: Develop an approved course syllabus that aligns with DeVry University standards.
✔ Use of Technology: Leverage online learning platforms to facilitate virtual discussions and assignments.
✔ Grading & Feedback: Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track academic progress.
✔ Industry Engagement: Ensure course materials reflect the latest trends and best practices in Cloud Computing.
✔ Student Support: Offer mentorship and academic assistance to enhance student learning and career readiness.
✔ Collaboration & Development: Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and curriculum updates.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience Required

✅ Master’s degree required, Doctoral degree preferred (MSEE, MSIT, MSE Network Engineering/Technology, or related fields).
✅ Must have 18+ graduate credit hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate instruction.
✅ Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent international accreditation.
✅ Teaching experience preferred in higher education, corporate training, or professional workshops.
✅ Strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills in an online learning environment.
✅ Experience using e-learning tools, virtual classrooms, and cloud-based technologies.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and faculty teams.

Compensation & Pay Structure

💵 Adjunct Faculty Pay (Varies by State & Course Load):

✔ $1,500 – $2,700 per 8-week session (most states).
✔ Hourly rate of $22.00 – $23.50 in Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Indiana (IN), and Pennsylvania (PA).
