✅ Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

🔹 Provide Direct Patient Care & Support

• Assist patients with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support ambulation by helping patients walk safely in their rooms, hallways, or to the restroom.
• Perform vital signs checks (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, oxygen levels).
• Assist with bedside wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
• Observe patient conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff.

🔹 Maintain a Safe & Comfortable Patient Environment

• Change bed linens, ensure rooms are clean, and provide a hygienic environment.
• Monitor patient intake & output, including blood glucose testing.
• Respond promptly to bed alarms, call lights, and patient requests.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Ensure hallways and workstations remain clear and organized.

🔹 Support Healthcare Team Operations

• Act as a liaison between patients, nurses, and doctors.
• Serve as a transporter for patient movement within the facility.
• Maintain and document refrigerator temperatures for medical supplies.
• Support the nursing team by ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and available.

📌 Minimum Requirements for the Role

✔️ Education: High School Diploma, GED, or State Registered Nursing Assistant (SRNA) certification.
✔️ Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
✔️ Experience: Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
