💼 Job Overview

We are looking for a Project Engineer – Electrical to join our team in Filer City, Michigan. In this entry-level to early-career role, you’ll apply electrical engineering principles in the design, installation, and start-up of mill engineering projects. You’ll work closely with mill tradespeople and contractors, gaining hands-on experience and professional development.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Apply engineering concepts to implement and manage electrical projects

• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems

• Supervise contractors and mill personnel during project execution

• Conduct data analysis and provide actionable engineering insights

• Participate in high-level assignments for training and career growth

🎓 Basic Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSEET)
✅ 0–3 years of engineering experience (Pulp & Paper preferred, not required)
✅ Proficiency in:

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

• AutoCAD and Microsoft Project

• Hands-on experience or coursework related to the pulp and paper industry

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
