Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector Assembler to perform visual inspections, component measurements, and precision assembly of bearing components.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Inspection & Quality Control:
-
Verify incoming documentation and bearing component details.
-
Perform visual inspections with magnification tools & scribes.
-
Measure bore, outer diameter, and dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Conduct acceptance/rejection analysis of components.
✔ Assembly & Process Monitoring:
-
Assist machine operators with material removal specifications.
-
Perform identification etching using air pencil tools.
-
Maintain properly calibrated inspection tools & equipment.
✔ Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
-
Follow SKF’s safety protocols & quality standards.
-
Actively contribute to 5S & lean manufacturing initiatives.
-
Support team projects & other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills
🔹 Minimum Requirements:
✔ High school diploma or GED.
✔ Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
✔ Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work independently under pressure.
🔹 Special Requirements:
✔ Must pass a Jaeger 1 near-vision eye test & color perception test.
✔ Ability to operate precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
🔹 Physical Demands & Work Conditions:
✔ Extended periods of standing, sitting, lifting, and bending.
✔ Work in a controlled climate with minimal noise exposure.
✔ Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
