π Role Overview
As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for engaging clients, identifying financial solutions, and delivering a superior customer service experience. Your role will include assisting clients with everyday banking transactions, educating them on self-service options, and recommending tailored financial products to help them reach their financial goals.
π Key Responsibilities:
β Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Actively engage with customers in the lobby and over the phone to provide personalized financial guidance.
- Educate clients on digital banking tools such as ATMs, mobile banking, and online banking platforms.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding their financial needs and offering customized solutions.
β Sales & Financial Advisory
- Recommend checking/savings accounts, credit cards, personal loans, and investment solutions to meet client needs.
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective and existing customers to deepen relationships.
- Collaborate with lending, small business, and investment specialists to ensure clients receive well-rounded financial guidance.
β Risk Management & Compliance
- Maintain operational excellence by following security measures, bank policies, and federal regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential fraud risks and suspicious activities.
- Accurately document customer interactions and transactions to ensure transparency.
β Operational & Service Excellence
- Effectively manage branch traffic, appointments, and outbound calls to enhance the customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new banking products, and digital innovations.
- Work closely with team members and specialists to achieve branch sales and service goals.
π― Qualifications & Skills Required:
π Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelorβs or Associateβs degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
π Work Experience:
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service, sales, or banking role.
- Background in a goal-oriented, commission-based sales environment is a plus.
