📌 About the Role: Risk & Compliance Training Officer

As the Risk & Compliance Training Officer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering firmwide risk and compliance training initiatives at Bloomberg. Your work will ensure employees—from interns to executives—are well-equipped with the knowledge needed to uphold regulatory and operational standards.

In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders including the Chief Risk Office, Legal & Compliance, Human Resources, and business units to develop engaging training programs that are aligned with industry regulations and best practices.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Deliver Training Programs: Create engaging, interactive, and effective compliance training using instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Manage Content Creation: Design e-learning modules, instructor-led training sessions, and assessments that are tailored to employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Compliance, Risk Management, HR, and other departments to align training initiatives with Bloomberg’s regulatory needs.
• Enhance Training Effectiveness: Use learner feedback, industry trends, and performance metrics to continuously refine training programs.
• Lead Compliance Training Strategy: Contribute to the annual firmwide Risk & Compliance Training Plan and ensure its successful execution.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on financial regulations and integrate key compliance requirements into training programs.
• Utilize Learning Technologies: Work with learning management systems (LMS) and training tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and Cornerstone to enhance training engagement.

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Required Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree Required – A degree in Education, Business, Finance, Compliance, or a related field.
✔ 7+ Years of Experience – Experience in Employee Training, Risk Management, or Compliance in the financial services or fintech industry.
✔ 3+ Years in Instructional Design & Training Development – Expertise in curriculum planning, training content creation, and adult learning strategies.
✔ Strong Project Management Skills – Ability to drive projects to completion, while collaborating with various stakeholders.
✔ Knowledge of Financial Regulations – Familiarity with risk and compliance standards impacting finance and technology.
✔ Experience with Learning Tools & Systems – Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Cornerstone LMS, and other training platforms.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications:

✔ Regulatory & Risk Management Experience – Understanding of operational and regulatory risks within a financial institution.
✔ Data-Driven Mindset – Ability to analyze training effectiveness metrics and make data-backed recommendations for improvement.
✔ Strong Communication & Leadership Skills – Ability to influence, engage, and present complex topics effectively to diverse audiences.
