🧾 Position Summary

Amergis Healthcare is now hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a school setting for the 2025–2026 academic year in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a full-time, contracted position aligned with the school district calendar, offering $40/hour and weekly pay. Nurses will play a key role in maintaining student wellness, managing health records, administering care, and fostering a safe learning environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day nursing care to students and staff

• Promote health education and wellness in schools

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and health professionals

• Ensure compliance with state and district health regulations

• Maintain medical records and administer medications

• Provide emergency care and manage chronic conditions

• Follow physician’s orders and Amergis protocols

• May supervise other nursing or support staff on-site

✅ Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (Nebraska or multistate compact)

• Graduate of an accredited RN, LPN, or LVN program

• Current CPR certification

• TB test or chest x-ray (as applicable)

• Health certificate per state/district requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

• 1+ year of professional nursing experience preferred

• Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory standards

⭐ Preferred Experience

• Pediatric or school-based nursing experience

• Supervisory or care coordination roles

• Familiarity with Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)

• Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages)

• Experience with IEP/504 planning and documentation
