IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Service Desk Analyst Intern to join our Global Service Desk Team in Ennis, TX. Key Responsibilities 

✔ Provide first-level IT support for employees across multiple global locations, assisting both on-site and remote staff.
✔ Troubleshoot technical issues related to Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS, and Android devices, along with software like Microsoft Office, web browsers, and enterprise applications.
✔ Assist in diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues and managing IT incidents efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
✔ Log, track, and update all client interactions within the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool, ensuring accuracy in reporting and documentation.
✔ Support hardware troubleshooting, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
✔ Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support, including evenings, nights, and weekends, for global IT issues.
✔ Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to research efforts for improvements in IT service management.
✔ Develop and maintain IT documentation, including FAQs, user guides, and technical procedures to support end-users.
✔ Assist with IT asset management by maintaining accurate data within the service configuration management system (CMS).

Qualifications & Skills:

📌 Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
📌 Experience: Previous experience in an IT Level 1 or Level 2 support role is highly desirable.
📌 Technical Skills: Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange/Outlook email systems, and device imaging/deployment is a plus.
📌 Customer Service Mindset: Ability to empathize with users, communicate effectively, and provide top-notch IT support.
📌 Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
📌 Collaboration: A team-oriented approach, capable of participating in global IT meetings and positively influencing outcomes.
📌 Multilingual Skills (Preferred): English required; Dutch and French proficiency is a plus for international support roles.
📌 Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel frequently (10%) to supported regional locations.
📌 Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation certification is an asset.
