Key Responsibilities
✔ Collaborate on Site & Civil Development Projects
- Assist in preparing engineering plans, drawings, and technical documents for a variety of projects.
- Work on grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, roads, and utility infrastructure for both public and private clients.
✔ Technical Design & Engineering
- Utilize AutoCAD or MicroStation to create engineering documents, maps, and site plans.
- Apply engineering knowledge to develop designs for storm drain, sanitary sewer, and water distribution systems.
✔ Project Coordination & Compliance
- Work closely with Baltimore City and other local jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with design review processes and regulations.
- Assist in land development planning, helping to shape the future of urban and suburban environments.
✔ Professional Development & Growth
- Work toward achieving Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Gain valuable experience in civil site design, working alongside industry-leading professionals.
📌 Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support project goals.
Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – Must have an accredited degree in civil engineering.
✅ Engineer in Training (EIT) Preferred – Must have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and be working toward PE licensure within 3-5 years.
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation – Prior experience with civil engineering software is highly preferred.
✅ Experience with Maryland Land Development Regulations – Ideal candidates have experience working on civil engineering projects in Baltimore City or other Maryland jurisdictions.
✅ Strong Analytical & Communication Skills – Ability to interpret engineering codes, review design plans, and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
