Valley Bank is looking for a Sr. Customer Care Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, live chat, and social media. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and banking knowledge to assist customers with inquiries, transactions, digital banking support, and more. π Key Responsibilities
βοΈ Customer Service & Support
- Provide best-in-class service via multiple communication channels.
- Resolve customer inquiries regarding banking products, transactions, and account issues.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
βοΈ Digital Banking & Technical Assistance
- Assist customers with online banking, mobile apps, bill pay, Zelle, and card management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate unresolved cases.
- Ensure a seamless digital banking experience for customers.
βοΈ Social Media Engagement & Communication
- Monitor social media inboxes to detect and respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide timely responses via direct messages, comments, and posts.
- Maintain a positive online presence and ensure compliance with brand policies.
βοΈ Cross-Selling & Referrals
- Educate customers on bank products and services.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell relevant financial solutions.
βοΈ Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Test new banking functionalities and provide feedback for user experience enhancements.
π Requirements & Qualifications
πΉ Education: High School Diploma or GED
πΉ Experience:
- 4+ years in a high-volume call center environment
- Teller or branch banking experience preferred
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
πΉ Skills:
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & banking software
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
