Job Overview

We are seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist 2 to join our Spokane, WA team. This full-time role is perfect for an entry-level professional (0-3 years experience) eager to work on diverse environmental projects alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

✔ Conduct environmental site investigations and fieldwork
✔ Perform soil, water, and groundwater sampling and monitoring
✔ Assist with pilot testing and remediation efforts
✔ Analyze and synthesize environmental data
✔ Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols
✔ Support technical report development and project documentation
✔ Travel to project sites as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

🎓 Education: B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
📜 Certifications: OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER & MSHA preferred
🖥 Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software
📝 Communication: Strong written and verbal skills
🚀 Additional: Membership in professional organizations and initial professional certification (EIT, FE, GIT, or equivalent) preferred

Salary & Benefits

💰 Salary Range: $67,000 – $74,000 per year (based on experience, education, certifications, and market conditions)
